not only was he very skilled archer and sword wielder in heaven's countless wars, jem was once known to his brothers and sisters as the keeper of poison, darkness & troubled souls. it was never a good thing when a soul was assigned to him, in desperate need of healing, comfort and care; teetering on the edge of broken.

although he is still very much a young angel in the eyes of many, jem feels that he, like others, has a right to speak his mind. it has landed him in trouble more than once, but that's never stopped him before. now that he is an outcast, he knows that freewill is just an illusion.

because being cast out the way he was, jem has a hard time trusting others. he feels that he was let down by his "family". and because of this, he holds a lot of anger towards heaven. some might call him grumpy, but he's not, he's just a lost, misunderstood puppy. think of him as a rebellious teenager, tattoos, dyed hair, piercings, and playing very loud rock music.
